JUNIOR GOLF:
Contact the clubhouse
(827-2856) for further information.
CAR SHEDS:
Our thanks to everyone who over the years purchased a ten year car shed.
Without your help, our car sheds could not have been built.
If
you vacate your shed before the expiry date, please contact the treasurer to
obtain a refund.
Car Shed Policy:
Drafted August 27, 2001 – Passed April 28, 2002
Revision Drafted June 4, 2008
Policy: To ensure that golf sheds are filled in a fair,
equitable and timely fashion.
Procedures:
- To
occupy a cart shed the occupant must be a member of the Glenboro Golf &
Country Club in the current year. If
the member wishing to occupy a cart shed is under the age of 18, he/she must
have their parent/guardian co-sign an agreement of responsibility.
- The
member must be willing to pay a full membership, trail fees and cart shed
rental.
- If
all the sheds are full, members will be put on a waiting list and will be
called in the order they are on the list.
- Should
a member decline when they have been offered a shed their name will move to
the bottom of the waiting list and will not be called again until their turn
comes up. *** (Exception:
If a member is offered a non-electric cart shed and they own an
electric cart. The next person
on the waiting list will be offered the cart shed but the member who
declined will remain at the top of the list for the next available shed.)
- If
an existing occupant of a cart shed wants to move to a different shed they
will have to put their name on the waiting list and be offered the shed as
their turn arrives. Should they
decline a shed (unless the shed is in the same building they are already in)
their name will move the bottom of the waiting list.
- Should
a member sell his cart, the shed does NOT become part of the deal even if
the member is a 10-year paid member. In
that case the member will be reimbursed for the unused years.
** (Exception: If the member is gifting/selling the cart to an immediate
family member* then the shed will remain with the family member if the
family member has been a member of the club for the previous two years.)
* Definition of immediate family member – Son/daughter, father/mother,
grandchild or grandparent.
- If a
ten-year paid member wants to relinquish his/her shed, he/she will be
reimbursed for the remaining years.
- Subject
to Executive Approval.
